Every decision has emotional impact on decision maker.

If you analyse all pros and cons and the vision of your potential profit is dominated by negatives and the profit does not outweigh the effort and deposited energy to learn new things, most likely you will give up. If it comes up positive, you are likely to make a decision to go ahead with you idea.

It is no different with setting up your own ecommerce shop. There are people, that think, it is a complicated, long-term process with lots of technicalities around it. Is it? Today you have so many platforms, that offer you ready solutions, which you can also adjust to meet your needs. It is worth considering, what you can offer to people, how you want them to be able to find you, how easy you want it to be for them to find the product they need, how you want them to pay, how you want to support post-sales queries, how much you want to automate things and then you google it, find potential platform provider, have a chat with someone to help determine if this is the right choice for you and just start! Some countries allow you to have some level of income without having to register a company with tax authorities (to begin with) until you reach a certain point, so why not trying?

I am a big fan of earning online. I wrote about one of the key decisions to make here. If you however know you want a low risk shop with no inventory, you can go with your unique DIGITAL intellectual property, create an online course, maybe an online tool (it does not necessarily have to be a new app that you invent and create). It can be something very simple like a specialized calculator that people can download or a spreadsheet with some unique features, formulas etc. that they can also download and get what they are otherwise not able to easily find elsewhere. There are millions of options! And for some of them you don’t even need an elaborate shop, there are also course platforms (LMS – learning management systems) that can fit your purpose.
Once you have determined your audience, what you want your trainees to achieve and be knowledgeable in after the course, you just need to make a decision and pick the right avenue!

And when you start seeing first results of your actions, you will know it was worth it.

First step is always the most difficult one.
But when it is done, you are miles ahead of those that will never take it.
Even if you fail, lesson will be learned.
